Monthly Progress #5

This is the fifth month since the planting of the Bo tree at this location. 3/4 of the year has gone by since her passing... and Maryse is still sorely missed...

Panoramic View

Here is a panoramic view from the location of Maryse's Ficus religiosa. The tree has now recovered well from the offending red ants and new growths resume on all branches including the younger new branches from the lower trunk.

Ficus religiosa

The Ficus religiosa is recovering from what we think is an aggressive invasion of the red ants. It is growing many healthy new branches in the lower portion of its trunk that is growing well. One has to be patient until the roots find their way to the water table for sustained growth.
