Monthly Progress #3

Three months after planting, here is how Maryse's tree looks today. It has been raining on and off the past month and this area was weeded quite often to keep the bad growth at bay. New growths on the young tree appear consistently in new young leaves on new branches. Today, there is a flock of ibis feeding as seen in the West-Northwest view. The ficus tree is planted in the SE corner in the Southeast Expansion Area (SEA) of Montgomery Botanical center.

Visiting this tree always evokes painful memories only I can experience.
